As you can see from the photos on this site, I’m mostly a people photographer although I do photograph animals, food, buildings and whatnot. It’s hard to sum up my style in words – you’re better off seeing for yourself – but it has been described as photojournalistic, artistic and “in the moment.”

I’m available to shoot weddings, editorial assignments, commercial work, portraits and events, both in the Northern California and worldwide.

I actually enjoy shooting weddings – they’re happy, spontaneous, emotional events with endless opportunities for great shots.

My goal is to photograph who people are, not just what they look like. For some reason, I’ve a knack of putting my subjects at ease and capturing their inner essence (corny as that sounds). It’s partly because I spend plenty of time on shoots and let my subjects do their own thing. I’m not a fan of posed shots, they always look stiff and uncomfortable to me. Besides, I’d rather see what unfolds in front of my camera.
